GLP ECT conference
The GLP was proud to host another successful ECT conference last Friday, bringing together 80 new teachers from across the borough to share their professional journeys.
Highlights included a specialist session from the SEND Outreach Team on how to support vulnerable learners, insights from experienced leaders from Wingfield, Alexander McLeod and Thomas Tallis on their professional drivers, and a keynote by Adele Bates on the link between student relationships and behaviour. Feedback from our ECTs showed they left feeling empowered and greatly valued the time to reflect on their practice.
Feedback from ECTs who attended show that they valued hearing from leaders about their teaching journeys and that they found the input about inclusion and behaviour useful training at this point of their career. ECTs left inspired and ready for their next week of teaching in their classrooms!
